The Max Noah Singers is a small, auditioned, vocal ensemble of 15 voices. iPods are used by the students for music study, practice, and self-evaluation. A podcasting channel delivers various examples of the pieces being studied, recordings of diction sessions with native speakers, and live recordings of rehearsals and concerts. These podcasts allow students to review and listen to the recordings as many times as, and wherever, they want. The iPods also serve as recruiting tools when the chorus goes on tour and meets with prospective students at high schools.
